Alkhidmat Working For Flood Relief: The True face of Humanitarianism

Floods in Pakistan

33 million people have been affected by the flooding, which has inundated more than one-third of the nation. To deal with the effects of this climate disaster, the entire nation is cooperating to provide assistance and help our people. Volunteers from Alkihidmat are actively involved in assisting with flood relief efforts and saving lives. Volunteers are working around the clock to assist everyone affected by the disaster. Many volunteers are risking their lives to save others and show that humanity is still alive and that true heroes don't need a uniform or a title; they only need a heart of gold

Unwaveringly committed to providing humanitarian aid since 1990, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is one of the top nonprofit organizations. Workers and volunteers from Alkhidmat are still working nonstop to provide aid to those in need both in Pakistan and throughout the world. the are specially working and focused on Pakistan's flood relief program. To assist his Pakistani brethren to recover from this natural disaster, President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor invited local and foreign Pakistanis to donate and volunteer.

Role of Alkhidmat in flood relief efforts

Foundation ALKHIDMAT Pakistan is actively engaged in humanitarian work. Not only are people's lives being affected by this catastrophe, but also their means of subsistence. People are left without shelter. In addition to their houses, floods have also destroyed hospitals, businesses, schools, universities, and more. They lost just about everything. More than 5000 volunteers have received training and are assisting in flood-affected areas in the water based on ALKHIDMAT's experience during the 2010 floods. President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor began working on this emergency right away and has been on the ground ever since. He applauds every worker and volunteer for their courage, a
s they all bravely and selflessly rescued many lives and are still trying to save more.

Seeing their constant effort people from all walks of life are coming forward in donating whatever they could. A young shoe polisher stole the hearts of many as he donates half of his daily earnings to one of the donation camps in Lahore. he motivated many to come forward and do the same. It is not important what you give but effort and heart are all the matter.

They have successfully managed to set up a camp city in Gadap for flood-hit displaced families. the shelter is the most important thing needed for women and children. In Charsada about 6000 victims receive daily meals and about 800 patients are treated on daily basis. They have also created 150 medical camps all over Pakistan.
Volunteers are real-life heroes in the time of the flood. Alkhidmat volunteers are standing tall and are providing every assistance possible. The latest video on Twitter of Alkhidmat volunteers saving a child in swat going viral is a just little glimpse of the efforts and selflessness of our real-life heroes. they are going all out to protect and provide for their fellow brothers. They are calling out for more human resources to support and help the teams with the packing of the luggage, sorting out donated items, providing medical support, and rescuing flood affectees
.

Rehabilitation is the next step and the Alhidmat President asks all the professionals to come to join them to assist in rebuilding the areas. They have already started schools in tents so that the students don’t fall behind. He has appealed to all national and international communities to help him in his mission to rescue flood affectees providing tents, food, and medical camps.

So, donate as much as you can. you can donate through foodpanda, alkhidmat website or even their camps. Everyone is welcome to volunteer as there will be more hands needed to manage the aftermath of the floods.

Apart from, disaster management, the Alkhidmat foundation is also already working in orphan care programs, providing clean water, community services (spreading happiness), health, education, and mawakhat (development through entrepreneurship). Alkhidmat workers and volunteers continue to work tirelessly for the relief of affected people across Pakistan and worldwide. We should all get together and help the flood affectees so that Pakistan can get out of this humanitarian crisis.

All Kashmiris and Pakistanis honor his sacrifices and struggle to voice against Indian oppression The name of Kashmir and its freedom leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani are not separate words. He was a prominent freedom fighter who passed away on September 1, 2021 , in Jammu & Kashmir. He was a popular leader in Pakistan too, as he spoke against the inhuman and unjust Indian occupation in Kashmir and stood firm on his belief in the two-nation theory even when he was not living in Pakistan. He recognized the fact Kashmiri having a Muslim majority population cannot live in Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) as its difficult for a Muslim to live in India as it is for a fish to live in a desert.
